Returns & Cancellation Policy

At Furniture Deck Limited, we fully comply with distance selling regulations and strive to treat our customers fairly and respectfully.

Right to Cancel

You have the statutory right under UK Distance Selling Law to cancel or return your order placed online within 14 working days for any reason.

To initiate a cancellation, email us at sales@furnituredeck.co.uk. A phone call will not be accepted as formal notice.

Return Conditions

  • Items must be returned unused, in original condition and packaging.
  • Collection charges apply if the return is due to change of mind.
  • No charges for damaged, incorrect, or incomplete items (original packaging required).
  • If packaging is missing, a fee of up to 50% of order value may apply.
If we have assembled your furniture and taken away the packaging, we will not accept returns unless faulty. Keep packaging if unsure about your purchase.

Important Exclusions

  • No returns on used mattresses, mattress covers or pillows due to hygiene.
  • Made-to-order or customised items cannot be cancelled or returned unless faulty.
  • Attempted-assembly or assembled flat-pack items cannot be returned.
  • Delivery and assembly fees are non-refundable.

Refunds

Once returned, your item will be inspected. Refunds will be processed within 30 days to the original payment method, subject to the item being in acceptable condition.

Storage & Delivery Failures

  • Orders undelivered after 6 weeks may be cancelled with 50% deduction and storage fees.
  • Furniture must be delivered within 3 weeks of notification or storage charges apply (£30/week).

Reporting Damage or Faults

  • Report any delivery damage within 24 hours.
  • We are not liable for damages from self-assembly or third-party fitting.
  • Check all items and parts before assembly. Contact us with photos of faults or incorrect items.
  • Do not assemble items if incorrect or damaged—doing so may void return eligibility.
Always keep original packaging until you’re sure you’ll keep the item. Without it, returns cannot be accepted.
